The King of Queens (the “Sweepstakes”)
September 5 – September 17, 2016

1    SPONSOR:  This Sweepstakes is sponsored by ‘WCIU, The U,’ whose corporate   address is 26 N. Halsted, Chicago, Illinois 60661 (the "Sponsor").

ENTRY.  A purchase is not required to enter or win one (1) seven (7) day cruise from Norwegian Cruise Line. The Sweepstakes begins Monday, September 5, 2016 at 5:00 PM and ends Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 5:29 PM unless extended by ‘WCIU, The U.’ To participate, viewers must watch either the 5 PM or 5:30 PM weeknight (Monday – Friday) episodes of ‘The King of Queens’ during the Sweepstakes period on ‘WCIU, The U’ for their chance to win. Entrants have up to two (2) chances to enter each day. Each day, two (2) different Code Words of the Day will be shown between 5 PM and 5:59 PM. To enter the Sweepstakes, viewers must submit the Code Word within 24 hours of the start of each show the following day. Only one (1) entry per person, per code word, per email address, per day will be accepted. One (1) winner will be selected using a computer software winner selection tool from all eligible entries.

Sponsors are not responsible for lost, late, illegible, misdirected or mutilated entries, including due to technical/network failures, human error, or any other error or malfunction. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void.

Entrants agree not to upload, post or transmit any materials which contain any computer viruses, Easter eggs, worms, Trojan Horses or other harmful component or programming routines that are intended to damage, detrimentally interfere with, surreptitiously intercept or expropriate any system, data or personal information. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or undermine the operation of the Sweepstakes is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and Sponsor reserves the rights to seek damages from any person who makes such attempt(s).

Any questions regarding the number of entries submitted by an individual or authorized account holder of an e-mail address shall be determined by Weigel Broadcasting Co. in its sole discretion, and Weigel Broadcasting Co. reserves the right to disqualify any entries by persons determined to be tampering with or abusing any aspect of the Sweepstakes.

ELIGIBILITY. The King of Queens Sweepstakes is open to all legal residents of Illinois who live in the Chicago DMA, as defined by Nielsen, and are age 21 years or older. Travel partner must also be 21 years old or older to participate in this Sweepstakes. Employees of ‘WCIU, The U,’ Weigel Broadcasting Co., Norwegian Cruise Line, United Auto Insurance, New Lenox Travel, their advertising agencies, consultants, franchisees, suppliers, (collectively, “Sweepstakes Parties”), family members are not eligible to enter or win. In addition, individuals who share a common household with an employee of a Sweepstakes Party or who are in any kind of domestic relationship or partnership with an employee of a Sweepstakes Party(e.g., boyfriends, girlfriends, fiancé, roommates) are not eligible to enter or win this Sweepstakes. Sponsor shall be the sole judge of what constitutes a domestic relationship or partnership in the event of a dispute.

PRIZES. One (1) winner will be awarded a seven (7) day cruise on the Escape Ship on Norwegian Cruise Line to a destination covered by that ship. Total Prize valued at $2500. Winner is responsible for airfare to the cruise ship docking location. Odds of winning will be determined by the total number of eligible entries. Once notified, the winners will have three (3) business days to claim their Prize. If a winner fails to claim their Prize, it will result in the forfeiture of the Prize and a new drawing may be held from the remaining eligible entries at the discretion of ‘WCIU, The U.’ Prize winners must possess a valid picture ID to claim their Prize.

PRIZE RESTRICTIONS.  These Prizes are non-transferable and are subject to all terms & conditions specified on the Prize vouchers. Prizes are not valid with any other offer, coupon, discount or group rate. Travel plans must be made exactly according to the voucher provided by New Lenox Travel and Norwegian Cruise Lines and the other prize providers. Prize dates cannot be extended. The winner and their travel companion must be 21 years of age or older at the time of Prize acceptance. Prizes are subject to black-out dates. Prizes must be redeemed by April 30, 2017. There will be no substitute or cash redemption awarded to any Sweepstakes winner. All income and other taxes are the responsibility of the winners. By entering, the winner is consenting to the use of their name, likeness, and/or biographical information for advertising and promotional purposes without additional consideration. Prizes do not include gambling or gaming.

DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY.  Winner is responsible for income and other taxes on the Prizes. Winners and their travel companion will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release of Liability, and Letter of Indemnification within three (3) business days of notification of being a winner. Prize winner must complete a 1099 form. Failure to comply with the rules and conditions of the Sweepstakes may result in a forfeiture of Prize. Taxes on these prizes will be applied to the 2016 tax year.

MISCELLANEOUS.  The decisions made by ‘WCIU, The U,’ concerning any and all matters with respect to this promotion shall be final. In the event of a computer, telephone failure, or any other circumstances beyond the control of ‘WCIU, The U,’ where it becomes impracticable to award one or more prizes, ‘WCIU, The U,’ may, in its sole and absolute discretion, determine not to award any such Prize. This Sweepstakes is void where prohibited, penalized or otherwise restricted by law. A copy of these official Sweepstakes rules are available at the ‘WCIU, The U’ offices located at 26 N. Halsted, Chicago, IL 60661. ‘WCIU, The U’ must receive any request for the winners’ names no later than March 20, 2017.
