NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Void where prohibited. By entering, each entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these Official Rules. Failure to comply with these rules may result in disqualification.SPONSOR. This Sweepstakes is sponsored by ‘87.7 MeTV FM,’ 26 N. Halsted, Chicago, Illinois 60661 (the "Sponsor"), which is solely responsible for the conduct of this Sweepstakes. By participating in this Sweepstakes, all participants and prize winners agree that Wrigley Field, Live Nation, their partnerships, subsidiaries and affiliates and each of such entities’ respective officers, directors, agents and employees are not responsible or liable for any injury, loss, illness, litigation or damage that may occur from participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, possession, use or misuse of prizes. In the event that any dispute arises regarding the meaning or interpretation of these official rules, participants agree that the dispute shall be resolved by applying the laws of Illinois and that it shall be resolved by and within the state or federal courts of that state.
ENTRY. A purchase is not required to enter or win two (2) tickets to see Billy Joel at Wrigley Field on Friday, August 26, 2016 (the “Prize”). ‘87.7 MeTV FM & Billy Joel’ Sweepstakes begins Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at 12:00 AM CST and ends Sunday, January 24, 2016 at 11:59 PM CST unless extended by ‘87.7 MeTV FM.’ To enter the Sweepstakes, listeners must do so at www.MeTV.fm and complete an online form to register. Only one (1) entry per person, per email address, per 24 hour period will be accepted (12AM-11:59PM). One (1) winner will be randomly selected using a computer software winner selection tool from all eligible online entries.
Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, illegible, misdirected or mutilated entries, including due to technical/network failures, human error, or any other error or malfunction. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void.
Entrants agree not to upload, post or transmit any materials which contain any computer viruses, Easter eggs, worms, Trojan Horses or other harmful component or programming routines that are intended to damage, detrimentally interfere with, surreptitiously intercept or expropriate any system, data or personal information. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or undermine the operation of the Sweepstakes is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and the Sponsor reserves the rights to seek damages from any person who makes such attempt(s).
Any questions regarding the number of entries submitted by an individual or authorized account holder of an e-mail address shall be determined by ‘87.7 MeTV FM’ in its sole discretion, and ‘87.7 MeTV FM’ reserves the right to disqualify any entries by persons determined to be tampering with or abusing any aspect of the Sweepstakes.
ELIGIBILITY. ‘87.7 MeTV FM & Billy Joel’ is open to all legal residents of Illinois: Cook, Lake, McHenry, DeKalb, Kane, Kendall, Grundy, Will, DuPage, Kankakee, LaSalle; Indiana: Lake, Porter, Newton, Jasper, LaPorte counties (as defined by A.C. Nielsen) and are 18 years of age or older. Entrants need not listen to 87.7 MeTV FM nor be present to win a Prize. Employees of ‘87.7 MeTV FM,’ Weigel Broadcasting Co., Wrigley Field, Live Nation, their advertising agencies, consultants, franchisees, suppliers, (collectively, “Sweepstakes Parties”) are not eligible to enter or win, nor are such employees’ family members. In addition, individuals who share a common household with an employee of a Sweepstakes Party or who are in any kind of domestic relationship or partnership with an employee of a Sweepstakes Party (e.g., boyfriends, girlfriends, fiancé, roommates) are not eligible to enter or win this Sweepstakes. Sponsor shall be the sole judge of what constitutes a domestic relationship or partnership in the event of a dispute.
PRIZES. One (1) winner will be awarded two (2) tickets to see Billy Joel at Wrigley Field on Friday, August 26, 2016, valued at $104. Winner will be selected and notified on Monday, January 25, 2016 at 12 PM CST. Winner will be first notified via the email address on their entry, followed up by a phone call to the phone number listed on their entry. Odds of winning will be determined by the total number of correct eligible entries. Once notified, the winner will have seven (7) days to claim their Prize. If a winner fails to claim their Prize, it will result in the forfeiture of the Prize and a new drawing may be held from the remaining eligible entries at the discretion of ‘87.7 MeTV FM.’ Prize Winner must possess a valid picture ID to claim their Prize.
PRIZE RESTRICTIONS & CONDITIONS. These Prizes are non-transferable and will be placed at Wrigley Field will call located at 1060 W. Addison St., Chicago, IL. Prizes are subject to terms and conditions of the Prize provide and Sweepstakes Parties. There will be no substitute or cash redemption awarded to any Sweepstakes winner. All income and other taxes are the responsibility of the winner. By entering, the winner is consenting to the use of their name, likeness, and/or biographical information for advertising and promotional purposes without additional consideration, including any in studio appearances.
DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY. Winner is responsible for income and other taxes on the Prizes. Winner will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release of Liability, Publicity Release and Letter of Indemnification within fourteen (14) business day of notification of being a winner. Failure to comply with the rules and conditions of the Sweepstakes may result in a forfeiture of Prize.
MISCELLANEOUS. The decisions made by ‘87.7 MeTV FM,’ concerning any and all matters with respect to this promotion shall be final. In the event of a computer, telephone failure, or any other circumstances beyond the control of ‘87.7 MeTV FM,’ where it becomes impracticable to award one or more Prizes, ‘87.7 MeTV FM,’ may, in its sole and absolute discretion, determine not to award any such Prize.
