Official Rules

SPONSOR. This Sweepstakes is sponsored by ‘WCIU, The U,’ whose corporate address is 26 N. Halsted St., Chicago, Illinois 60661 (the "Sponsor").

1. ENTRY. A purchase is not required to enter or win one (1) 2015 Jeep Renegade Latitude 4X4 (the “Grand Prize”) and one (1) $100 Marathon gas card or one (1) of nineteen (19) $100 Marathon gas cards (the “Daily Prize”). Sweepstakes begins Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 6 AM CT and ends Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 5:59 AM CT unless extended by ‘WCIU, The U.’ To participate, viewers must watch ‘You & Me This Morning’ (the “Show”) weekdays beginning 6 AM through 8:59 AM during the Sweepstakes period on ‘WCIU, The U’ for their chance to win. One (1) distinct code word will be shown between 6:00 AM and 8:59 AM, a total of six (6) times each weekday during the Show. To enter the Sweepstakes, viewers must submit the code word presented during the Show by 5:59 AM the next day during the Sweepstakes period. Only one (1) entry per person, per email address, per code word, per day (as defined by 6 AM to 5:59 AM the following day) will be accepted. Twenty (20) winners will be selected using a computer software winner selection tool from all eligible entries. Each of the twenty (20) winners will receive one (1) $100 Marathon gas card and the chance to win the Grand Prize, a 2015 Jeep Renegade Latitude 4X4 at an event at Fields Auto Group in Glenview, Illinois on Sunday, June 7, 2015 (the “Event”).

Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, illegible, misdirected or mutilated entries due to technical/network failures, human error, or any other error or malfunction. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void.

Entrants agree not to upload, post or transmit any materials which contain any computer viruses, Easter eggs, worms, Trojan Horses or other harmful component or programming routines that are intended to damage, detrimentally interfere with, surreptitiously intercept or expropriate any system, data or personal information. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or undermine the operation of the Sweepstakes is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and Sponsor reserves the rights to seek damages from any person who makes such attempt(s).

Any questions regarding the number of entries submitted by an individual or authorized account holder of an e-mail address shall be determined by ‘WCIU, The U’ in its sole discretion, and ‘WCIU, The U’ reserves the right to disqualify any entries by persons determined to be tampering with or abusing any aspect of the Sweepstakes.

2. ELIGIBILITY. The ‘Drive away with You & Me This Morning’ Sweepstakes is open to all legal residents of Illinois and Indiana who live in the Chicagoland television viewing area (as defined by A.C. Nielsen) and are 21 years of age or older. Employees of ‘WCIU, The U,’ Weigel Broadcasting Co., Fields Auto Group, Chrysler Group LLC, Marathon, Noble Communications, their advertising agencies, consultants, franchisees, suppliers, (collectively, “Sweepstakes Parties”) are not eligible to enter or win, nor are such employees’ family members. In addition, individuals who share a common household with an employee of a Sweepstakes Party or who are in any kind of domestic relationship or partnership with an employee of a Sweepstakes Party (e.g., boyfriends, girlfriends, fiancé, roommates) are not eligible to enter or win this Sweepstakes. Sponsor shall be the sole judge of what constitutes as a domestic relationship or partnership in the event of a dispute.

3. PRIZES. One (1) winner will be awarded a 2015 Jeep Renegade Latitude 4X4, valued at $26,685, as well as a $100 Marathon gas card at the Event. Total Grand Prize value is $26,785. Nineteen (19) winners will win one (1) $100 Marathon gas card, valued at $100. Twenty (20) winners will be selected at the end of each 24 hour period (6 AM – 5:59 AM) in which the Code Word aired during the Sweepstakes period. Odds of winning will be determined by the total number of eligible entries. Odds of winning the Grand Prize at the Event are one (1) in twenty (20). Winners will be contacted via email and phone to be notified of winning. Once notified, the winners will have three (3) business days to claim their Prize. If a winner fails to claim their Prize, it will result in the forfeiture of the Prize and a new drawing may be held from the remaining eligible entries at the discretion of ‘WCIU, The U.’ Prize winners must possess a valid picture ID to claim their Prize. Each of the twenty (20) winners are required to attend the Event on Sunday, June 7, 2015 (time TBD) at Fields Auto Group, located at 2800 Patriot Blvd, Glenview, Illinois for the chance to win the Grand Prize. Winners will not be allowed inside the dealership until the time specified for the Event to start. Winners must be checked in by the time specified by the Sponsors prior to the Event; late arrivals will not be able to check in or participate in the Event. At the Event, each winner will randomly select a key fob and attempt to start the car. Winners will attempt to start the car in the order in which they were selected as a winner. Winners are not allowed to keep any key fobs. The winner that selects the key that starts the car will receive the Grand Prize and no other attempts at starting the car by any other winners will be allowed. All winners must be present at the Event to be eligible to win the Grand Prize and receive their Daily Prize. Winners are allowed one (1) guest to accompany them to the Event. Any other guests must remain outside the dealership.

4. PRIZE RESTRICTIONS. These Prizes are non-transferable and subject to terms & conditions set forth by Fields Auto Group, Chrysler Group LLC, Marathon and the Sponsor. There will be no substitute or cash redemption awarded to any Sweepstakes winner. Neither the Grand Prize, nor the Marathon gas card can be exchanged for cash. All income and other taxes are the responsibility of the winners. All sales, federal, state and local taxes apply and are the responsibility of the winners. The winner of the car is responsible for all Sales Tax, License and Title fees, $150 Doc. By entering, the winners are consenting to the use of their name, likeness, and/or biographical information for advertising and promotional purposes without additional consideration. All winners must possess a government issued ID at the Event. Grand Prize winner must have a valid driver’s license and car insurance to take possession of the car. The specifications, customizations, features and details of the Grand Prize cannot be altered or changed. Grand Prize is presented as is and no other changes to the vehicle can be made. The car will have a reasonable amount of mileage on the vehicle due to transportation in regard to normal showroom activity and acquired during this promotion. If the Grand Prize winner wants any changes to the car in any other way than how it is presented at the Event, it will be at the sole cost to the Grand Prize winner. Car used in promotional messaging and imaging during this Sweepstakes may be for creative, illustrative and demonstration only and may not be the same car given away as the Grand Prize.

5. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY. Winners are responsible for income and other taxes on the Prizes. Winners and their Event companion will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release of Liability, and Letter of Indemnification on or before June 7, 2015. Prize winners must complete a 1099 form. Failure to comply with the rules and conditions of the Sweepstakes may result in a forfeiture of Prize. Taxes on the Prizes will be applied to the 2015 tax year. Sponsors assume no liability for any health conditions, accidents, injuries, traffic citations or monetary losses arising from this Sweepstakes. All participants, as a condition of entry, agree to be bound by these official rules and the decisions of Sponsors. Failure to comply with these official rules may result in disqualification from this Sweepstakes. Sponsors reserve the right to permanently disqualify any person it believes has intentionally violated these official rules. In the unlikely event that more than one finalist is in possession of the winning key, the first winner to successfully start the car with their key will be the official winner. In the event that none of the winners are able to start the car with their key, Sponsor is able to have winners make a second attempt, in the original order. If none of the keys start the car, Sponsor is able to randomly select a Grand Prize winner from a pool of winners who are at the Event. Sponsor is not responsible for any key, lock or starter malfunctions that allow a non-winning key to actually start the car or not the start the car. In the event of any kind of problem or malfunction that prevents the execution of the Event as planned, Sponsors will reserve the right to compile names of all present winners and draw a Grand Prize winner in a fair and transparent method that excludes the car or key fobs.

6. MISCELLANEOUS. The decisions made by ‘WCIU, The U,’ concerning any and all matters with respect to this promotion shall be final. In the event of a computer, telephone failure, or any other circumstances beyond the control of ‘WCIU, The U,’ where it becomes impracticable to award one or more prizes, ‘WCIU, The U,’ may, in its sole and absolute discretion, determine not to award any such Prize. This Sweepstakes is void where prohibited, penalized or otherwise restricted by law. A copy of these official Sweepstakes rules are available at the ‘WCIU, The U’ offices located at 26 N. Halsted, Chicago, IL 60661. ‘WCIU, The U’ must receive any request for the winners’ names no later than June 12, 2016.
